Hi all,

Thinking of doing PADI Open Water dive course while in Samui, time permits of course.

Does anyone know of a good dive school they can reccomend?

Is there a dive school that sponsors the regatta?
I would prefer to go with a regatta sponsor if possible.

In my search for a Diving School, I decided to check out the regatta's title sponsor, Sawadee.com website. What a wealth of information there is there. It is fantastic. Full of information from transport to weather to hotels to my favorite, food.

Hi Scott. Yup, loads of information on Sawadee.com. They are a great partner to have in the regatta and we will add some more links to them shortly.
We are also in talks with a diving school right now about becoming a partner so if you can hold on a little bit I will get you that info.
Definitely some great diving sites around Samui and Ko Tao.

Hi Callum,
Thanks for the heads up. I will definately wait eagerly to see a dive company come on board. We always enjoy what the regatta sponsers offer, from staying at the Centara Grand or Tradewinds through to the great crew lunches delivered by Subway last year.
I just spoke to Howard from Cronulla Sailing Club, south of Sydney, and they can't wait to come up and join in the fun.
