In koh Samui again!

We arrived in KS last Saturday,a very quick trip.

We departed Subic,early as to avoid any typhoon that occurs during this time.

Last year,we had 2-3 typhoon that hindered our scheduled departure from the Philippines.In order for us to not be affected by any typhoon that any time soon will occur,we left early,so that we dont miss the regatta(it happened to us twice before,'04 and 05).

Mandrake,was with us the whole trip,except of the last day, we parted ways because she did not stick to our waypoints.(maybe there is more fish there,hehehe!)

She went inside the restricted zone in the oil rigs,and I stick to my rhumbline outside of the restricted zone.In the end,she was ahead of me by about 3 hours,in chaweng.

We had a very good trip,on day 1 mandrake caught squid and she shared some of the catch,second day,again she had squid,but this time she also got a 15pounder dorado and still I've got nothing,but she gave some of her dorado catch.

Only on the 3rd day that we've got lucky to have a small tuna,just enough for a sashimi lunch.

Everyday,we have the same things happened,we always have "kinilaw"(sashimi,but filipino style) on our meals.

The trip was very nice,as the wind is all the way from behind,no squalls,only light rain.so nice!

So here we are again,ready to rumble,the extra gears are off loaded already,we are just awaiting for Neil and the rest of the crew.

Who will be the next champion of KSR? we will find out after 6th June!
